DESCRIPTION:The Ann Arbor Rotary Clubs (Ann Arbor North\, Ann Arbor West\, Rotary Club of Ann Arbor)\, Interact Clubs of Huron\, Skyline\, and Saline High School\, UofM’s Rotaract Club\, and volunteers from around the community have been teamed up with Kids Coalition Against Hunger to do meal packing events at Pioneer High School since 2022. In that time\, we have been able to produce over 115\,000 meals for people all around the world\, from families in your community\, to cities in disaster relief situations. Now\, we are hosting our fourth year at Pioneer High School on Saturday\, November 8th\, 2025\, at 9:00 AM. \nThis annual fall service project could not happen without the many hands that gather to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. This year our goal is to pack 50\,000 meals\, which means we need to raise $17\,500. \nWe are currently seeking donations and volunteers to pack meals. DESCRIPTION:FALL WATERLOO HISTORY HIKE:  2:00 – 3:30 p.m.\, Sunday\, October 19.  Have these woods always been here?  Why is there a park here anyway?  Enjoy Waterloo’s brilliant fall foliage while learning of the natural and human histories that have played roles in the evolution of Waterloo’s landscape we see today.  DNR interpreter and Master Naturalist\, Doug Jackson\, will lead you on a 5-mile hike from the lower parking lot through the scenic Hickory Hills trail and back.  Sturdy footwear and binoculars recommended.  Cost: $2/person or $5/family. Eddy Discovery Center\, 17030 Bush Rd. in the Waterloo Recreation Area near Chelsea.  Program limited to 15 participants.  The building is closed so program will be entirely outdoors.  Please register for this program by emailing waterloonha@gmail.com with your name\, phone number and number of people attending.
