SUMMARY:Solstice Celebration - All Night Puja
DESCRIPTION:Event DescriptionA sound bath is a powerful tool for self-healing. A Puja is a deep\, all-night sound bath meditation. Created by Rob Meyer-Kukan\, Deanna Bordeau\, and Lauren Hoffman\, a puja consists of multiple consecutive sound bath sessions and lasts around 10 hours total.\n \nDuring a puja\, you will sleep through the night into the early morning\, while being bathed in the low-level sound and vibrations from singing bowls and gongs. This will lead to a sleepy meditative state or possibly even a lucid dreaming state for the night.\n \nThis is an extraordinary opportunity to experience a profound energetic shift and reap the deeply healing effect of multiple sound baths throughout the night. Many people report feeling much lighter or more free after a puja. You will of course have your own unique journey – the sound baths will give you what you need!\n \nScheduleAt 9 pm you may start to arrive to set-up your space. The puja will begin at 9:15 pm with heart-opening cacao and gentle movement with reiki. At 10:30 pm we will take a short break and give you time to settle in. The sound immersion will begin at around 11 pm. We will conclude early Sunday morning. The puja will complete at 6 am with an extended period of total silence\, lasting until 6:30 am. Before departing we will have light refreshments of fruit and tea.\n \nAfter the puja\, we recommend you allow yourself plenty of time to wake up\, integrate\, journal (if desired)\, and relax before traveling home or beginning anything too demanding!\n \nWhat you should bring?* Wear comfortable warm clothes to move around and then sleep in.* Bedding (e.g.\, inflatable camping mattresses\, a sleeping bag or duvet\, and pillow). A yoga mat and blanket will be provided.* Eye mask or eye pillow* Ear plugs if you are a light sleeper (snoring is likely). Ear plugs will not prevent you from receiving the benefits of the vibrations* A bottle of water.* A low light flashlight (lighting in the room will be dim\, not fully darkened. If you are concerned\, you will not be able to find your way to the restrooms should you need them\, this could be handy- or the light on your phone also does the trick!)\n \nDuring the puja absolute silence is observed (except for the sound of the instruments\, of course!). Phones should be on silent with notifications turned off. You may exit the puja for necessary visits to the restroom\, though we ask you to make as little noise as possible while exiting and returning to the room. Should you feel you need to leave the room for an extended period\, there will be a room where you may go and lie down. If you have any medical conditions requiring special arrangements or medication\, then this should be brought with you. Discuss any concerns with Rob prior to registering to ensure that we can accommodate your needs.\n \nLocation:\nThe puja will take place at 7 Notes Natural Health in Ann Arbor (3830 Packard Road Suite 180 Ann Arbor 48108).\n \nInvestment: $125Advanced registration with payment required to assist with planning.Register by completing this form – https://7NotesNaturalHealth.as.me/puja-June-25\nDoors will open 15 minutes prior to the start of the event\, please arrive early to allow time to check-in and to get settled.\n \nAbout Lauren – I started my personal healing journey in 2012\, after my first daughter was born and I needed to find my place in the world again. I believe in a whole body-mind- spirit approach and that our bodies are designed to heal themselves\, given the right tools. I find that the most powerful modality\, to facilitating a deep healing within\, is the use of sound and vibration. Lauren’s business is called Whole-self Wellness.\n \nAbout Deanna – Deanna Bordeau is a dedicated Reiki Master/Teacher\, Sound and Vibrational Therapy Practitioner\, and Health and Wellness Coach. A proud breast cancer survivor\, she channels her journey of resilience into helping others discover their inner strength\, heal themselves\, and find solace from life’s anxieties and worries. Deanna’s passion lies in empowering individuals to embrace their wellness journey and achieve balance and harmony in their lives. Deanna’s business is called Divine Wellness with Deanna.
