The Saline girls’ soccer team earned a pair of shutouts in SEC Red action last week to improve to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
The Hornets opened the week by blanking Monroe 8-0.
Caylin Sturms led Saline with a hat trick of three goals.
Sadie Walsh found the net twice, while MaKena Means, Hadley Greener, and Bella Barnes scored once each.
Saline then took down Dexter 6-0 Saturday.
Sturms and Nada Derneika led the offense with two goals each, while Walsh and Barnes each scored one.
Freshmen Evie James recorded clean sheets in both for her fifth and sixth shutouts of the season in net.
