A Special Weather Statement with moderate severity has been issued for Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee, and Monroe counties, effective from April 4, 3:06 PM EDT to 4:00 PM EDT, warning of strong thunderstorms capable of producing winds in excess of 40 mph, potentially knocking down tree limbs and blowing around unsecured objects.

At 304 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Saline to near Britton to near Ottawa
Lake. Movement was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Taylor, Romulus, Monroe, Flat Rock, Saline, Milan, Dundee,
Blissfield, Carleton, Temperance, Wyandotte, Trenton, Grosse Ile,
Ida, Belleville, Luna Pier, Petersburg, Deerfield, Britton, and
Maybee.
