1. Approval of Proclamation Designating February 9, 2026, as Cub Scout Pack 455 Day (Mayor Henson)

MOTION Henson SECONDED Angus to approve the Proclamation declaring February 9, 2026, as Cub Scout Pack 455 Day in the City of Chelsea. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Approval of Extension of Housing Commission and Term Lengths (Council Member Keaton)

MOTION Stump SECONDED Iannelli to approve the extension of the Chelsea Area Housing Commission and Commissioner term lengths for an additional two years, to be extended, if necessary, at the end of that time. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Adoption of Resolution #2026-7 Approving Special Event Permit SP2026-1 (Manager Cole)

MOTION Angus SECONDED Bullerman to adopt Resolution #2026-7 approving the Special Event Permit SP2026-1. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Discussion of Resolution Regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) (Attorney Fink)
• Approve at First Reading Ordinance 193 – Repeal of Local Officers Compensation Commission (Attorney Fink)

MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Bullerman to approve at First Reading Ordinance 193 Repeal of Local Compensation Commission. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Approval of Replacement of HVAC Unit for Police Department (Chief Kazyak)

MOTION Stump SECONDED Merkel to approve the replacement of rooftop unit #204 by CMR for a cost of $18,200.00. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Approval of Purchase of Excavator from Kubota of Jackson (Operations Manager Stevens)

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Stump to approve the purchase of an excavator from Kubota of Jackson in the amount of $143,530.00. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Approval of Buyout of Lease on 2022 Bucket Truck for Electric Department (Operations Manager Stevens)

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Iannelli to approve the buyout of the 2022 Bucket Truck from Custom Truck One Source. All ayes. Motion carried.
