INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES TAX EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE

2326 BISHOP CIRCLE EAST LLC

The City of Dexter City Council will hold a public hearing on October 13, 2025at 7:00 p.m., in City Council Chambers, located at 3515 Broad Street, Dexter, MI 48130. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an Application for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate, submitted by 2326 Bishop Circle East, LLC, for property it owns at 2326 Bishop Circle East (08-08-07-125-020), Dexter, Michigan.

2326 Bishop Circle East, LLC., has entered into a lease agreement with Apogee CNC Inc, a CNC machine shop built to achieve speed, precision, and trust, and is proposing investments of $617,271.00 in real property improvements to 2326 Bishop Circle East. The exemption would apply to the increase in taxable value of the real property, resulting from the proposed investment.  The applicant has requested the exemption for a period up to eight (8) years.

The application is available for public inspection at the City Offices, 3515 Broad Street, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on the city website, www.dextermi.gov. Any questions regarding the IFT application should be directed to the Office of Community Development at 734-580-2235.

Public comment may be provided during the meeting, either in-person or virtually, submitted in writing at city offices, located at 3515 Broad Street, Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or emailed to the Office of Community Development [email protected]. All comments must be received no later than close of business the day of the meeting.

A sign language interpreter, or other assistance, may be provided upon request to the City Clerk [email protected], at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Minutes of all meetings are available on the City website, www.dextermi.gov.
