NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE AMENDED
DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX IMCREMENT FINANCING PLAN OF THE
CITY OF DEXTER DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to state Public Act 57 of 2018, as amended, the City of Dexter City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at City Hall located at 3515 Broad Street, Dexter, MI 48130. The public hearing is intended to provide an opportunity for interested citizens and property owners within the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) District to express their opinions regarding all aspects of an amended Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan.
The Development Plan and TIF Plan serves as a guide for all development and redevelopment related to projects with the DDA District. The DDA District boundary and Development TIF Capture Area will remain the same and can be generally described as incorporating properties along Main Street, Baker Road, Ann Arbor Street.
The Development Plan and TIF Plan is available for public inspection at the City Offices, 3515 Broad Street, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on the city website, https://dextermi.gov/government/boards_and_commissions/dda.php. Questions should be directed to the Office of Community Development at 734-580-2235.
Public comment may be provided during the meeting, either in-person or virtually, submitted in writing at city offices, located at 3515 Broad Street, Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or emailed to the Office of Community Development [email protected]. All comments must be received no later than close of business the day of the meeting.
A sign language interpreter, or other assistance, may be provided upon request to the City Clerk [email protected], at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Minutes of all meetings are available on the city website, www.dextermi.gov.
