Incident #: 25-4264 Location: M-52 X I-94 Date: November 10, 2025 Time: 8:07 am INFORMATION: While on routine patrol, an officer responded to the area of M-52 and I-94 for the report of an attempted larceny of a catalytic converter. The complainant stated that she had parked the vehicle on the afternoon of November 9th. When she returned to the vehicle on the morning of November 10th and started it, it was noticeably louder. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that an unknown suspect(s) had attempted to cut the catalytic converter off the vehicle. At the time of the complaint, there was no information available on the suspect’s description. Incident #: 25-4281 Location: 300 block of W. Middle Street Date: November 10, 2025 Time: 8:51 pm INFORMATION: While on routine patrol, officers responded to the 300 block of W. Middle Street regarding an unoccupied home invasion. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant, who stated that he had arrived home and found the back door to the residence, reportedly forced open. The complainant stated that he believed that the suspect may have been an ex-girlfriend who had moved out of the house three weeks earlier. The complainant stated that he had been contacting the suspect, identified as a 33-year-old Jackson woman, and had been trying to arrange for her to come and retrieve some possessions left in the house. The complainant stated that he had received a call from the suspect earlier in the night and that the suspect had reportedly yelled at him and told him that she was going to kick the door in to gain entry. At the time of the report, officers had not been able to make contact with the suspect. The case remains open pending further investigation and warrant submission and review by the Washtenaw County Prosecutors’ Office to determine if charges would be authorized.
