NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Dexter Township will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budgets

DATE: Tuesday February 17, 2026

TIME:   6:00 PM

LOCATION:     Dexter Township Hall

                6880 Dexter-Pinckney Rd., Dexter 48130

AGENDA:                         The proposed FY 2027 Budgets for the following funds will be discussed: General Fund – Fire Services Fund – Police Services Fund – Farmland and Open Space Fund – Capital Fund.

“The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budgets will be a subject of this hearing.”

The proposed budgets will be available for public inspection starting on Thursday February 6, 2026 at the Dexter Township Hall between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. They will also be posted on the Township’s website www.dextertownshipmi.gov

NOTE: If the all seven members of the Board of Trustees are present, the Board may discuss and take action on any items that it could otherwise act on at a regular meeting.

This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Michigan Open Meetings Act), being MCL 15.265(4), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, as amended, being Title 42 Chapter 126 and Title 47 Chapter 5 of the United States Code.

The Dexter Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon seven days’ notice to the Dexter Township Board.

Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Dexter Township Board by writing or calling the Office Manager at the address and phone number printed at the top of this page.

A copy of this notice is on file in the office of the clerk.
