Lodi Twp: Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Synopsis 12/3/24

The meeting opened with the flag pledge at 6:30pm. Seven board members were present, several members of the public were present. The Consent Agenda items C2,C3,C4,C7 & C8 were approved as presented, there was a short attorney report, there was a short Planning Commission Report. There were several Public Comments. The agenda was approved as presented with the rest of the consent agenda added to the end of new business including the addition of “Instituting public process for appointments”. Old Business: none. Agenda items: Appoint Board of Review Members term ending January 2027, Appoint Jesse O’Jac as attorney of record as of December 14, 2024, appoint Board Member for River Raisin Watershed Council & Ann Arbor Airport Advisory Board, Appoint member to Planning Commission, Appoint Township Board Member to Planning Commission, appoint board member to SAFD, Approval of 11/6/2024 and 11/22/2024 minutes, Amend budget – not needed, Recognize Planning Commission Minutes, Recognize Zoning and MCI reports – none, received correspondence that doesn’t require board action, discussion on instituting public process for appointments. FYI: a replacement no truck sign has been ordered for Ellsworth road, and Attorney Lucas will draft a letter to the Prayer Center. Next regular scheduled board meeting is January 7, 2025, starting at 6:30pm.
