SCIO TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

JANUARY 27, 2026, 6:00 pm

 827 N ZEEB RD, ANN ARBOR, MI 48103

Approved the minutes of January 13, 2026 Regular Meeting.

Approved payment of the bills.

Adopted amendment to the Defined Contribution Adoption Agreement for Fire Union employees.

Authorized E.T. Mackenzie to proceed on a time and material dig to locate the watermain on Park Road.

Authorized payment to OHM Advisors for professional engineering services associated with the Arbres Grove project.

Appointed Trustee Brant as Scio’s alternate representative on the Huron River Watershed Council for a term to expire November 20, 2028.

Approved the Poverty Exemption Guidelines for 2026.

Approved the winter 2026 issue of the newsletter.

Approved site plan/detailed engineering for Fire Station #2 with conditions to be addressed prior to holding a pre-construction meeting for the project.

Approved conditional offers of employment to Allison Klonowski and Noah Huber as Natural Areas Technicians for Scio Township.

Approved tree removal and trimming along the proposed route of Zeeb Road Pathway.

Approved a conditional offer of employment to Patricia Collier as Finance Manager for Scio Township.

Adopted the Code of Conduct for Scio Township Officials and Staff.

Directed the Project Manager to review the Michigan Liquor Control Commission social district program for Scio Township and present a report to the Township Board by March 10, 2026.

Approved the Resolution of denial for Piper Ridge Conditional Rezoning.
