SYNOPSIS

SCIO TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR BOARD WORK SESSION MEETING

FEBRARY 3, 2026, 6:00 pm

 827 N ZEEB RD, ANN ARBOR, MI 48103

Approved the minutes of January 27, 2026 Regular Meeting.

Approved payment of the bills.

Approved payment to Bristol Collision Services for repair work on the ford E-350.

Adopted the 2026 Tree Fund Management Plan, as amended.

          Adopted Resolution to adopt the 2027-2031 Capital Improvements Plan, as amended.

Authorized Office Coordinator and Township Attorney to contact neighboring property owners of a landlocked parcel to inquire about the interest of acquiring the parcel.

Directed Project Manager to review Parcel 10, located at the northwest corner of Jackson Road and Staebler Road, for potential commercial sale, and return with a proposal.

Directed Project Manager and Parks Director, in coordination with other relevant Township staff, to explore potential temporary community uses of the Staebler Road freeway-adjacent parcel, including possible Kiwanis-related programming or activities, and report back to the Board.

Granted Parks Director to utilize the Red Barn property for parks and recreational purposes, open to the public on a limited basis and for storage.
