Street Talk: What is Your Favorite Ice Cream Flavor?

Everyone has a favorite ice cream flavor to share, whether it be chocolate, butter pecan, black cherry, or even dill pickle. Yes, there is such a thing as dill pickle ice cream!

And if you’re from the Midwest, it really doesn’t matter which season it is – it’s still a favorite treat. The Sun Times News had no difficulty in finding folks who voiced their opinion – along with lots of smiles and daydreams of ice cream cones.

Jackie Marcinkiewicz: “My favorite ice cream is mint cookies and cream.  I love the chocolate and mint combination with the added texture of the cookies.”

Maxwell Gill: “Moose tracks is my favorite, because it’s flavorful, and you can find it almost everywhere.”

Dana Queen: “I like all different kinds of ice cream, but the most important thing is that you have magic shell – the most important thing in the world. It tastes so good, it has a little bit of saltiness to it that just makes everything all that much better and you can put it on any ice cream. It comes in a bottle and you put it on top and it creates a shell – it’s incredible. It doesn’t matter what ice cream ice I have, as long as I have the magic shell on it.”

Allyson Herter: “Hudsonville does their ‘indulgent’ flavor, like a mint chocolate chip cookie dough. It’s a brand at Meijer and it’s so good!  I like it because it’s a mix between my two favorites which are mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip cookie dough – it’s really good.”

Larissa Anderson: “I like cookies and cream because I like cookies with dough in it.”

Lance Anderson: “I like cookies and cream, too. My favorite is chocolate with sprinkles.”
