MEETING SYNOPSIS – January 13, 2025 Board Regular Meeting

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.  Members present: Supervisor Nimke, Clerk Jackson, Treasurer Egeler, Trustee Koseck, Trustee Schulze. The Board took action to: approve the agenda; approve the consent agenda; approve the purchase of two desktop computers, and one keyboard, mouse, and monitor not to exceed $2600 for the Water treatment Plant; adopt Township Ordinance 26-01:  a 180-day moratorium on data centers passed by roll call vote 5(Y) 0(N); appoint Rob Mahan as the Sylvan Township Board of Review alternate, term expiring Jan1, 2028; adopt the 2026 Hardship Exemption Guidelines; approve opening of the Sylvan-Lima Joint Planning Commission Account at Chelsea State Bank and approve Clerk Jackson, Treasurer Egeler, Deputy Clerk Sherwood, and Deputy Treasurer Porter as signers for the account; discussed a resolution presented to the Board by concerned residents regardingproposed road improvements for Werkner Road by the Washtenaw County Road Commission. Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.

MEETING SYNOPSIS – January 29, 2025 Special Board Meeting

Meeting called to order at 10:02 a.m.  Members present: Supervisor Nimke, Clerk Jackson, Treasurer Egeler, Trustee Koseck, Trustee Schulze. The Board took action to: adopt Resolution 26-01, to address citizen concerns for Werkner Road project, through roll call vote 5(Y) 0(N); approve a bid for well pit valve maintenance not to exceed $7000; discuss the Fiscal Year 2025/2026 budget. Meeting adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
