NOTICE OF ADOPTION

Notice is hereby given that the Township Board for Sylvan Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan adopted Ordinance 26-01 at its regular meeting on January 13, 2026.

Ordinance 26-001 adopts a 180-day temporary moratorium on the acceptance and/or processing of any applications for a data center.

A copy of the full text of the Ordinance 26-001 may be inspected or purchased at the Township Offices (18027 Old US-12, Chelsea, MI 48118). The Ordinance 26-01 is also be posted on the Township’s website at: sylvantownshipmi.gov.

The adopted amendment shall become effective the day the notice is published, as provided in the ordinance and by state law.
