Project Description: Special Use Permit (SUP25-007) and Combined Preliminary and Final Site Plan Review Application (CSPA 25-006) to allow a church use on the property at 719 Mckinley Road. The project will include the construction of a new 10,000 square foot building to be used for the primary church services and the existing 1,875 square foot home on the site will be converted to office space to support the church use. The improvements will also include parking spaces for 104 vehicles, a 480 square foot storage garage, a 150 square foot garbage enclosure, and new landscaping.    

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Planning Commission meeting will be held in person in the Board Room at the Township Offices 18027 Old US 12, Chelsea, MI 48118.  The public may also view/hear the meeting through Zoom access by computer and smart phone using the following link:

The public may only speak during the public hearing and during public comment by being physically present at the meeting. Such comments will be limited to three minutes per person for each item. Written comments may also be sent to the township offices at 18027 Old US 12, Chelsea, Michigan 48118-9673 prior to the public hearing will also be received by the Planning Commission at the meeting before close of the public hearing.

This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The Planning Commission will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon four (4) days notice to the Sylvan Zoning Administrator.
