NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS TO WEBSTER TOWNSHIP

ZONING ORDINANCE (Ordinance No. 08-11)

Resolution No 25-32 as adopted on August 19, 2025

At a regular meeting of the Township Board of Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, held at the Webster Township Hall on August 19, 2025 at 7 p.m., the following resolutions were adopted.

Resolution No. 25-32

A resolution to amend Webster Township Zoning Ordinance No. 08-11 approving the proposed amendments to Sections 9.10.B, 9.10.C and 9.10.D of Article 9, and Section 2.10 of Article 2 of the Webster Township Zoning Ordinance, to address maximum floor area ratio standards for nonconforming lots and to reclassify temporary structure use as a permitted use within the AG (Agricultural) Zoning District, and send Section 9.15 D back to the Planning Commission.

The resolution was offered by Savander and supported by­­ Vrsek

YEAS: Brovont, DeAngelo, Savander, Harms & Vrsek

NAY: Scharf ABSTAIN: None; ABSENT: Munzel

THE TOWNSHIP OF WEBSTER, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN HEREBY ORDAINS:

  • Article 9, Section 9.10.B & C: Amend to change temporary structures from a Special Use to a permitted use, subject to Board approval in Agriculture District.
  • Article 9, Section 9.10.D: Amend to allow additional lot coverage for nonconforming lots of record in Agriculture District.
  • Article 2, Section 2.10: Amend to add definitions for Site Condominium and Platted Subdivision, and to revise the definition of Lot of Record.

www.webstermi.us.

The ordinance shall take effect seven (7) days after publication of notice of adoption of this ordinance, unless referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402. If referendum procedures are initiated, this ordinance will take effect in accordance with MCL 125.3402.
