Webster Twp: Special Board Meeting Synopsis 8/12/25

SYNOPSIS Webster Township Special Board Meeting – August 12, 2025 – 7:00 p.m.

The Webster Township Special Board Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Supervisor Mike DeAngelo on August 12, 2025, at Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Members present: Supervisor Mike DeAngelo; Clerk Tonie Brovont; Treasurer John Scharf; Trustees Dan Munzel, Jeff Harms, Brant Savander, Shelly Vrsek; Deputy Supervisor Rick Kleinschmidt; Assessor Bill Sinkule; Deputy Clerk Donna Whitney; Attorney Matt Kuschel; and 39 citizens.

Motion to approve the agenda as presented. Carried.   

Discussion on Water Damage Mitigation in Township Hall. Discussed how to move forward with the newly discovered water damage and mold in the township exterior walls.

Discussion on Draft Private Roads & Shared Driveway Ordinance. A section-by-section discussion took place of Articles 1, 2 and 3, Sections 1.1 through 3.4 of the Draft Private Roads & Shared Driveway Ordinance. Proposed amendments were noted.  A follow-up Special Meeting will be scheduled to continue the discussion beginning with Article 4, Section 4.1.
