  1. Education Session – Michigan Municipal League: Essentials of Local Government

Council Business

  1. Approval of Authorization for City Manager to Approve Payables (Manager Cole)

MOTION Stump SECONDED Bullerman to give authorization to the City Manager to approve payables processed between March 23, 2026, and April 27, 2026. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Purchase of New Police Vehicle (Chief Kazyak)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Stump to approve the purchase of a 2026 Ford Explorer, from Gorno Ford for the amount of $47,105.00, and the upfitting to be completed by Priority One Emergency for the amount of $18,206.00. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Arbor Day Proclamation (Community Development Department, Marin)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Iannelli to approve the Proclamation declaring April 24, 2026, to be Arbor Day in the City of Chelsea. All ayes. Motion carried.

CLOSED SESSION – To consider the purchase or lease of real property up to the time an option to purchase or lease that real property is obtained.

MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Stump to enter into Closed Session to consider the purchase or lease of real property up to the time an option to purchase or lease that real property is obtained. All ayes. Motion carried.

MOTION Stump SECONDED Iannelli to exit the Closed Session and return to the regular meeting. All ayes. Motion carried.

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Stump to proceed as discussed during closed session. All ayes. Motion carried.
