YORK CHARTER TOWNSHIP

SYNOPSIS

The April 14, 2026, Regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall by Supervisor Ludwig. Seven Board members present. One public comments heard, one written petition. Regular agenda approved as presented.

Unfinished Business: Res. #2026-11 rescinded; Res. #2026-12, Res. to Issue METRO Act Right-Of-Way Permit to Prime-One Net, LLC adopted in its place.

New Business: Second Agreement with WCRC approved. Lawn Care and several property maintenance agreements with Creation Keepers LLC approved. Resignation and Appointment to ZBA approved. Appointments to the Non-Motorized Transportation Committee approved. York Township’s portion of MAFD’s operating and capital improvement budgets approved. Township Hall parking lot light upgrades tabled until more quotes are received. Res. #2026-14, Res. to Approve Uniform Video Service Franchise Agreement with Comcast of Michigan IV, LLC. Memorandum of Understanding for Waste Reduction Sponsorship approved. The Board voted not to send a letter of support for Yorktown Commons. Blighted barn enforcement discussion held.
